The Ringing Cedar
Summarizing the stories from the books of
the series “Ringing Cedars of Russia” by author Vladimir Megre and
published stories of individual people, also in Latvia, here you will get
acquainted with amazing nature of the cedar tree, it’s healing properties, the
possibilities of cultivation in the climatic conditions of Latvia, comparing
the different countries in which the cedar tree grows. That’s, it will not only
be about Siberian cedar, which seeds and production you can buy in our online
store, but also about the Lebanese cedar and cedars adapted to European
climatic conditions.
The
indigenous peoples living in Siberia, the things mentioned here from the
stories are completely known and obvious – they have been using the cedar tree
from time immemorial, processing it, for the manufacture of decorative
products, they have gotten used to the cedar both in tradition and in everyday
life. And in the books of the aforementioned author V. Megre the wisdom and
teachings of the elders living in Siberia are just mentioned, how to grow and
use a cedar tree.
God
created the cedar as store of energies of the Cosmos. Radiation emanates from a
person in a state of love. In a split second, it, reflected from the planets
floating above a person, again reaches the Earth and gives life to all living
things… Only light radiation leaves a person go in the Space. A dark radiation
emanates from a person who is under the influence of evil feelings, which
cannot rise up and therefore gets into the depths of the Earth. Reflected from
the bowels, it returns to the surface in the form of well-known natural
disasters.
The
cedar lives about 550 years. With millions of its leaf-needles, in day and
night it catches and accumulates light energy, it’s entire spectrum. During the
life of a cedar, all bodies pass over it, reflecting light energy.
Even
in a small piece of cedar there is more energy beneficial for a person than all
man-made energy installations on Earth combined.
The
cedar receives the energy emanating from a person through the Cosmos, stores
and gives it back at the right time, when it is not enough in the Cosmos, and
therefore in a person, in everything that lives and grows on Earth.
What
is a Ringing cedar?.. There
are, but very rarely, cedars that accumulate, but don’t give back accumulated
energy. After 500 years of their life, they begin to ring. This is how they
speak with their quiet ringing, this is how they give a sign that people should
take them, cut they down to use the accumulated energy on Earth. So the cedar
begs for three years it, deprived of the opportunity to give away the
accumulated through the Cosmos, loses the ability to give directly to man. Then
he begins to burn energy in himself. This agonizing process of burning and
dying of him lasts 27 years.
According
to the story of a Siberian elder (from the book Anastasia – the first book in series), we recently
discovered such a cedar and determined that it had been ringing for two years
already. Quiet ringing, very quiet. Maybe he is trying to stretch out his
request for a longer time, but he has only one more year left. It needs to be
cut down and distributed to people…
The
cedar, from needle leaves to bark, has highly effective therapeutic properties.
Cedar needles have a high phytoncidity, the ability to easily disinfect the
surrounding air, and cedar wood has a characteristic, very pleasant balsamic
smell.
A
small piece of cedar wood placed in the home repels moths. The fruits of the
Siberian cedar effectively restore male strength and restore youth to a person,
significantly increase the body’s resistance, and help it resist many diseases.
From
the stories about cedars heard and read in various literature, the author V.
Megre summarized and compared the materials. In books of ethnoscience, a lot is
said about the healing properties of cedar. It says that everything from its
needle leaves to the bark has highly effective therapeutic properties. Siberian
cedar wood has a beautiful appearance, and it is used by craftsmen of artistic
woodcarving, making furniture and resonance boards for musical instruments. The
quality indicators of the cedar growing in the northern regions are much higher
than in the more southern ones.
Historical
information also has been collected, which mentions that famous personalities
suffered from bullet wounds, but were very hardy, as they grew up on pine nuts
in the Siberian area. There are similar stories from today’s athletes about
cases of their endurance. Even in the Bible the cedar is mentioned 42 times,
especially in the book of Moses, where God taught how to heal people and
decontaminate home with… CEDAR! King Solomon built a temple out of cedar. To
deliver the cedar from Lebanon, he gave for it to another king – Heron – twenty
cities of his kingdom. Incredible! Given for some material for construction…
True, he was rendered one more service. At the request of King Solomon, he was
given people who knew how to cut trees, selecting the most suitable ones.
The
druids had a bowl of cedar resin, and it was called the “Chalice of Life”. From
the burning of the resin in the bowl, occurred The Fire of Zoroaster.
To
grow a cedar in Latvia, it’s recommended to choose its origin, from which
countries and lands it came… Even the Lebanese cedar can be acclimatized when
the cedar grows large and adapts to our climatic conditions, does not freeze.
In the mountains of Lebanon, where cedar grow, there are also snowy winters,
and if trees grow there absolutely naturally, then they would also grow here,
under human care. Only small seedlings should be covered from the cold and
protected from strong winds. The Lebanese cedar is known for its size, stamina
and beauty. He is among the trees like a lord, reaching 30 meters in height and
14 meters around the stump. Once in the mountains of Lebanon there were large
cedar forests, which are now trying to revive.
Korean
(Manchurian) cedar pine (in Latin – Pinus
koraiensis) is resistant to much higher frosts and winds, it’s root system
allows the tree to stay in open mountain ranges, coastal zones amid strong
winds, unlike other species of cedar that need shelter in the form of the
surrounding woods. Grows well in deep, rich, moist, well-drained soils. At a
young age, it is shade-tolerant, it regenerates well under the forest canopy.
In our conditions it grows up to 6-7 meters, in the autumn of the second year,
cones with seeds – cedar nuts begin to fall down.
Siberian
cedar, or more precisely – Siberian cedar pine (in Latin – Pinus sibirica) can be tried to grow in Latgale, in turn, closer to
the coastal area, it is better to choose European cedar pine. They are suitable
for our climate and are real, since two beautiful, large 100-year-old cedar
pines grow right here in Riga, in park of Zeluste’s manor near the Lake Jugla. Siberian
cedar pines grow with pleasure throughout the territory of Latvia – the most
beautiful ones are in the dendrological park in Ogre. Two Siberian cedar pines
grow in the park of the Bulduri Horticultural High School.
Siberian
pine is a real Siberian cedar. Initially, it was simply called a cedar, and the
Lebanese cedar was named in Latin Cedrus
– the Cedar tree. It means that Siberian (and European, Korean too) cedars are
real, but Lebanese cedars are “like them”.
